Nowadays things have got technical and bikers opting for different models for road riding, mountain biking and BMX racing.
Coupled with this technology is a huge range of specialist equipment and knowledge needed to pursue one's passion.
The Rotorua Cycle Centre has been at the forefront of the cycling industry for more than 50 years. (Formerly Frews, and Becketts)
Mike and Glendyr Casey have owned the store for 19 years, and have staff of self-confessed bike fanatics with a wealth of experience including Blair Rolfe, Michael Mansell, Lance Tavinor and Scott lane.
Blair joined the crew ten years a go and has enjoyed downhill and BMX racing.
